IBM, SAP, UPS, Campbell Soup, Gap, Inc. and others were all announced as award winners at the first annual Climate Leadership Conference February 29th in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The Climate Leadership Awards were established by the EPA in partnership with The Climate Registry, the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES) and the Association of Climate Change Officers to recognize exemplary corporate, organizational, and individual leadership in response to climate change.
“Corporate leadership is essential to meeting our climate and energy challenges,” said Eileen Claussen, President of C2ES. “These companies demonstrate every day that it’s possible to shrink your carbon footprint without compromising your bottom line.”
